Update to review from three years ago. I reallllyyy liked the Al pastor taco this time around. They were generous and it was 5 stars for sure! However, still underwhelmed BG the quesadilla, meat was dry and not a lot of flavor. The burrito was alright, and super generous with the serving. Just felt it lacked flavor a bit. Would go for the Al pastor taco again, though!

Chicharron taco! I love this place! It is a nationhood joint with weird hours. However it is a great place to take out as the food is served piping hot and you can have plenty of time to drive to your next destination and eat in the parking lot. I highly recommend keeping a dish towel in the car! :-) Also I highly recommend the green sauce!

1/4/24 Roxie and I did some hiking so we stopped in for a quick taco lunch. I ordered the Al Pastor taco and it was spot on!

Quick review. Lunch. Had barbacoa and pastor on corn. Seems like store bought tortillas, but pretty good. Double stacked but held up to the fillings. Good size. Two was a full meal for $8. Good value. Pastor was a little dry, but pretty good. Barbacoa was the winner. Tender. Perfect with the salsa verde to give it a little kick. Quite good. Four stars for now. Will return.

Solid. We got breakfast tacos, steak, and al pastor. Al pastor wasn't our favorite but the steak was excellent. Queso is 10/10 and service was quick (cane around 12pm on a Tuesday) but i am sure they get busy.

Was in the area and did a search on Yelp for highest rated places, and Taco Brother kept popping up there. What caught my eye were those Lily's Fries. So I made my way to the red trailer in the parking lot of a gas station. Guy was pretty nice and patient with me, as he walked me through the top sellers. The beef and chorizo mixed taco, and the Al Pastor. I then asked about Lily's Fries - he said "oh yes" - - it's popular, he makes the queso from scratch, he's very proud of it. So we put in our order for those 3 items. Food came out pretty quickly, and I loved his tacos. The meat was very flavorful, and it's crispy from the griddle, tasted so good. And he's got 3 salsas - the green is the usual what you see - it's pretty awesome. The red is flavorful, and he also has a dark red hot diablo sauce - wow. I was really happy with those tacos and highly recommend. The Lily's Fries were prety awesome. He told me he changed up the recipe - making it more colorful, adding in the red and yellow peppers, and it has pulled pork in there. But that queso he puts in there - wow - it's so very good! You mix it all together and it's like an awesome plate of hearty fries full of flavor - a party in your mouth. Price is about $11-13 I think - but the quality and taste is really good, and there's nothing else out there (that I know of) that's like it. Service was friendly and prompt. When I'm down in this area - I'm going to make this a regular stop.

I basically keep coming back here for the same things - lilis fries and their steak quesadilla. Those Lili fries are to dieeeee for. So damn flavorful with everything you could possibly want on them I legit cannot get enough. So good. Their quesadilla was also freshly made and delicious. Prices have definitely gone up - lilis and quesadilla were both $10.50 each, but they're filling.
